EMDR Intensives

A focused, structured approach for high-achieving women who are tired of overthinking everything, carrying too much, and still not feeling at ease.

Who This Is For

This is for you if:

  • You replay conversations and decisions long after they’re over

  • You feel responsible for how other people feel

  • You say “yes” when you don’t want to and then feel drained afterward

  • You hold yourself to a high standard but still fee like it’s not enough

  • You feel tense even when nothing’s wrong

Why EMDR Intensives Work

Weekly therapy can feel like starting and stopping before you’ve worked through what’s underneath.

Intensives allow you to stay with what’s coming up long enough for it to actually shift so you’re not starting over every week.

What Begins To Change

  • You make decisions and move on instead of revisiting them for hours

  • You say “no” without over-explaining or feeling guilty afterward

  • You stop adjusting yourself to manage other people’s moods

  • You address things directly instead of overthinking them

  • You leave conversations without replaying everything you said

  • You follow through on what you want—not just what’s expected

  • You feel physically calmer instead of constantly tense

  • You trust your judgment without needing reassurance

  • You let things go instead of carrying them all day

These changes show up in how you make decisions, set boundaries and move through your day.

What to Expect: The EMDR Intensive Process

Step 2: Assessment & Preparation (90 Minutes)

Before your EMDR Intensive, we begin with a dedicated 90-minute Assessment and Preparation Session.

This is not a standard intake.

It is a focused, in-depth session designed specifically to prepare you for the intensity and effectiveness of EMDR Intensive work.

During this session, we will:

  • gain a clear understanding of your history and current concerns

  • identify the experiences and patterns we want to target

  • develop a structured plan for your intensive

  • ensure your nervous system is prepared for deeper processing

This step allows us to move into your intensive with clarity, intention, and momentum, rather than starting from scratch.

Step 1: Schedule a Complimentary Consultation

We begin with a brief phone consultation to understand what you’re looking for and determine whether EMDR Intensives are the right fit for you.

Step 3: Your EMDR Intensive

You will choose the format that best fits your needs:

  • Half-Day Intensive: 3 hours of focused processing

  • Full-Day Intensive: 6 hours of focused processing

During this time, we’ll work in a structured, intentional way to help your brain process and resolve what has been feeling stuck, without the stop-and-start of weekly therapy.

Step 4: Integration & Follow-Up

After your intensive, we’ll meet for a follow-up session to:

  • review what shifted during your intensive

  • support integration of the work

  • assess how your system has responded since the session

This session is typically scheduled 2–3 weeks after your intensive to allow time for continued processing and integration.

During this time, we will also determine whether:

  • the work completed feels resolved, or

  • an additional processing session or future intensive would be beneficial
